2018 Martin Luther King Day of Service for All Ages

Put your day “off” to good use as a day “on”! This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 15, between 1:00 and 4:00 PM, please join The Winnetka Community House, The Volunteer Center and The Kindness Connection for an afternoon of service projects and friendly open reflection behind the mic about Dr. King, civil liberties and cultural understanding. Drop by any time between 1:00–4:00 PM at Winnetka Community House, 620 Lincoln Avenue, Winnetka, to help over a dozen nonprofits with a wide array of enjoyable and helpful projects for all ages and abilities. Complete projects for the homeless, vets, children, refugees, animals and more.

There are no fees or reservations to attend. All project materials are provided except those wishing to make blankets for the homeless please bring 4 yards of fleece fabric and fabric scissors.
