Kevin teaching Boot Camp moves to two-year-old Grant Bonnell and his mom Amanda.

Winnetka Community House is happy to announce that Kevin Ware is joining the Fitness Centre personal trainer team.

Kevin is the owner of HeartWare Fitness and has taught Boot Camp at the Community House since 2010. His Boot Camp has become one of the most popular Group X fitness classes. He has also run successful Boot Camp classes for Bally Total Fitness, LifeTime Fitness, and for the Chicago Police Department.

Kevin is certified through World Instructor Training Schools and is a former premier running back at Jacksonville State University. He is currently the Strength & Conditioning Coach for Sockers FC soccer club and the Northshore United Footbal Academy.  In both programs, he is responsible for S.P.A.R.Q. (Speed, power, agility, reaction and quickness) and strength conditioning in addition to speed, agility, and ACL prevention programs. He is also about to launch Parisi Speed School at the Community House.

As part of the Winnetka Community House personal training team his mission is to motivate, challenge and assist clients to achieve their fitness goals.

The WCH is happy to offer entertainment on select “no school days” for children and their parents. All performances are general seating. Each participant over the age of two years old must have a ticket to view the show.

“Matz was transformed from the usual theater into an awesome night club lounge,” said event chair Rob Albertson. “And no two drink minimum, with all the Finch’s beer and fine wine free flowing! Outstanding event, all around.”

Finch’s Beer, one of Chicago’s newest craft breweries, provided beer for the event and HomeMade Pizza Company was on hand cooking in their catering truck.

The crowd enjoyed the music of Molly’s Suite 7, a new 10 piece band that played everything from Jackson 5 to Sheryl Crow to Cee Lo Green. Click here if you’d like to contact them!
